| Custom textures galore! And the train is a neat touch. The Germans are stockpiling resources in an abandoned mine complex. Can the Allies carry off the top secret documents? Not if G-Force is Axis! | |

- Objective Game
The Allies start the game at the West End of the map at the Half-track. The Axis defenders start from within the mine tunnels. The Allied team has to fight off the Axis opposition and capture the Forward Spawn inside the Garage. The Side Gate can be satchel-charged or dynamited to aid the Allied attack on the compound. Once the Allies have secured the Forward Spawn, the Axis team will spawn in the upper levels of the mine. The Allies now need to press home their attack into the tunnels to capture their objectives. They can do this in one of two ways, on foot or by Train (if the Axis have not hidden it in the tunnels). The Secret Plans are in a Safe, in the Stores, and as is the way of the world, the safe is locked. The Axis have the Safe Key is in the Armoury, just waiting for the Allies to steal it. Once the Allies have opened the safe and have the Secret Plans in their possession, they need to escort it to the waiting Half-Track so the Plans can be taken to HQ.
Last Man Standing Game
In Last Man Standing game mode, the Allies spawn at the Halftrack, the Axis will spawn at the Bunk room. Ammo and Health cabinets will be located in the Garage and Armoury.
Train
The Train will run automatically to the next stop once activated. There are four Train stops, two stops just outside the Garage and two within the tunnels. One at the Armoury, and the other, at the Stores. There are two sets of points within the tunnels that control whether the Train goes to the Armoury or to the Stores. Both teams can use the Train and points.

When you un-pak the alpine_assault_beta.zip into etmain, as well as the alpine_assault_beta.pk3 you will find a folder called "aa_beta_extra_pk3". Within this you will find:

alpine_assault_beta_nt.pk3 (nt = no train), moving this pk3 to etmain will disable the train should you wish to run the map without it. This pk3 affects all game types.
Both these pk3's are small and can be quickly downloaded by any client joining the server without them. For more info on adding custom scripts to this map see here.

| You win. I'm just lazy. But I did post a map before you did, and that's good enough for me. You've taken over my own board. | |
